The race categories of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2024 are Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10km. There are other non-competitive categories, 10km Wheelchair Race and Wheelchair Trial, for athletes to participate in this mega event and experience the joy of participating together.

The Standard Chartered Marathon 2024 offers baggage storage services for participants. The locations for storing baggage for the half marathon, full marathon, and 10-kilometer races are different, and participants are required to use the bags and tags provided by the organizers.
